Like most other decent heavy bag stands, the Everlast Heavy Bag Stand holds up to 100 lbs and includes three weight plate pegs for added stability and durability.

This following comment applies to most of these conventional style heavy bag stands: you will likely need some weights for the pegs. If you are a big person or just hitting the bag with lots of power, it’s likely the stand will move around a bit. This is expected, which is why they added the pegs for the weights. The only problem: the weights aren’t included.

If you have other exercise equipment at home there’s a chance you will have some plate-style weights. These are recommended, although I know some people who anchor with sandbags because that’s what they have in their garage. They can work well too, just not as well as plates.

Overall this stand has received good customer reviews. The main bonus is that it’s easy to put together, and although it may not be extremely “portable” when it is assembled, it’s something you can move around if you like by disassembling. If you don’t have the appropriate beams to hang a bag off, then this could be a good option. Mid range price, mid-range product that meets the requirements of most.

The product description does not explicitly state the weight it will support, and I couldn’t find that information in the Owner’s Manual either.
